Veltiono team, dipl. engineer · Updated: 6/19/2026 · Verified against ΚΥΑ 86272/ΕΞ2026 & gov.gr

This is an indicative estimate and does not bind the managing authority of the Anakainisi Katoikias programme.

The gov.gr eligibility pre-check platform anakainisi.apps.gov.gr for the «Anakainisi Katoikias» programme (also known as Anakainizo 2026) is live since 15 June 2026 — you can log in with your TaxisNet credentials today and see whether you qualify. Final funding applications start on 1 September 2026. Check the criteria below, see how the pre-check works step by step, and run your estimate now.

Eligibility criteria

  • Building permit up to 31.12.1990
  • Floor area up to 120 m² (up to 150 m² for families with 3+ children)
  • Energy class Γ or below (Γ–Η) on the first ΠΕΑ
  • You are the owner of the home
  • Income within the limits: single up to €25,000, single-parent family up to €39,000, couple up to €35,000 (+€5,000 per child)

Key dates

The pre-check opened on 15 June 2026 and the eligibility certificate can be issued until 24 August 2026 — the pre-check platform stays open until then. Final funding applications start afterwards, on 1 September 2026. The full timeline, deadlines and the works-completion cut-off are laid out in deadlines & dates 2026.

Before the official pre-check —or alongside it— you can informally check whether you qualify with our calculator.

How the pre-check works, step by step

The pre-check at anakainisi.apps.gov.gr runs online through gov.gr and takes only a few minutes:

  1. 1

Log in with your TaxisNet credentials

Go to anakainisi.apps.gov.gr and sign in with your TaxisNet credentials through gov.gr.

  2. 2

Automatic income check via the tax authority (AADE)

The system pulls your income data from the tax authority (AADE) and automatically works out whether you qualify and which subsidy rate you fall under.

  3. 3

    Pick the home

Your properties on record appear. You select one home only for the pre-check.

  4. 4

Issue & download the eligibility certificate

The eligibility certificate is issued instantly and you can download it as a PDF.

The eligibility certificate is the "green light" to move forward — it is not a funding approval and is provisional. The pre-check platform stays open until 24 August 2026, so make sure you issue the certificate in good time. The final application to join the programme, with the full file, opens on 1 September 2026.

What to prepare now

For the application you'll need an Electronic Building Identity (Ηλεκτρονική Ταυτότητα Κτιρίου) and a ΠΕΑ (before and after the works). Step by step what to prepare from today — and the mistakes that cut the subsidy — in the preparation guide. See the full programme guide too.
