This policy explains what personal data we collect through Veltiono, for what purpose, and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data controller
The controller of the personal data collected through this site is Alfa Systimata EPE (official Latin transliteration: Alpha Sistimata Eteria Periorismenis Efthinis; trade name A-Systems Ltd), Greek tax number (AFM) 800978538 and General Commercial Registry (GEMI) number 146179104000, registered seat at 12th km Thessaloniki–Moudania road, Thermi, 57001, Greece (hereinafter "Veltiono"), which operates the Veltiono.gr platform.
What data we collect
- Contact details you provide voluntarily: your name, your email and, optionally, your phone number.
- The details you enter into the calculator (property type, area, marital status, income, etc.) and the calculation result.
- Usage statistics via PostHog, Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics 4 (e.g. which steps you completed, heatmaps and session recording), collected only if you consent to analytics cookies.
- Marketing data: cookies and identifiers from Google and Meta (Facebook/Instagram), activated only if you consent to marketing cookies.
- If you have consented to marketing cookies, technical details of your visit — the address of the page you submitted the form from, your IP address and your browser user-agent — are transmitted to Meta so the conversion can be matched to the ad you saw. The page address is cleaned before it is stored: the unique link to your result and any query parameters are stripped out.
Time-on-page measurement (first-party)
We measure, with our own first-party tooling, how long you stay on the results page, how far you scroll and whether you reached the action checklist. The measurement itself uses no cookies and involves no transfer to third parties, on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the service. If — and only if — you give us your separate, optional consent in the form, we combine those signals (time on page, scroll depth, action checklist) with how soon you say you will start and with how many work categories you selected, and turn them into an A/B/C grade that a partner sees before buying your request. The individual numbers are never shown to a partner — only the letter. A partner can also filter and sort the request list by that grade, so the grade already affects the order in which they see requests today. Without that consent we compute no grade at all: your request is shown with a neutral B and is passed on as normal, so declining costs you nothing. Today the grade does not affect the price of the request; it may do so in the future. You can withdraw this consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails or by writing to info@veltiono.gr.
Purpose and legal basis
We use your contact details to send you the PDF report or guide, and — with your consent — to connect you with partner categories (see the "Recipients" section below). The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give before submitting. Anonymous statistics serve to improve the service.
Marketing and advertising
With your consent to marketing cookies, we use Google (Google Ads) and Meta (Meta Pixel) tools to measure the effectiveness of our ads and to show you more relevant ads on Google and Meta (Facebook/Instagram). The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. These tools stay inactive until you consent. Under that same consent we also send Meta the form-submission event from our own servers (the Conversions API), together with the address of the page it was submitted from, your IP address and your browser user-agent; these are used solely to match the conversion to the ad and for no other purpose. The page address is stripped of the unique link to your result and of any query parameters before it is stored or sent. If you have declined marketing cookies, none of the above is sent. If we find no recorded answer to the banner but your browser already carries Meta's own _fbp/_fbc cookies — which are created only after consent to marketing cookies has been given in that browser — we treat consent as granted and the event is sent; in every other case nothing is sent. These technical details (page address, IP, user-agent) are stored only in the cases where sending is permitted; otherwise they are not recorded at all.
Where the data is stored
Contact details are stored securely on Supabase infrastructure within the European Union. Analytics statistics are handled by PostHog and Microsoft Clarity. To protect our forms from automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes a technical token and your IP address on the legal basis of our legitimate interest in preventing spam. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes; with your explicit consent, your contact details are shared with the partner categories described below. Emails (e.g. sending the PDF report) are handled via Resend. Your first-party data is stored and processed within the European Union. If you consent to marketing, Google and Meta process data under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Recipients / transfer to partners
With your consent, your contact details are transferred to partner categories (contractors/tradespeople, energy inspectors/engineers for ΠΕΑ certification, banks/financing partners, materials and equipment suppliers) so they can contact you regarding the renovation, financing, or supply. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Before buying, a partner sees anonymous details of the request (area, work categories, budget range, timeline) and — if you gave the separate consent for the grade — the A/B/C letter, never the individual numbers; your contact details are revealed only after the purchase. A partner can also filter and sort the request list by that grade, so the grade already affects the order in which they see requests today.
Retention period
We aim to keep your contact details for no longer than 24 months from your last contact with us, and in any case we delete them sooner if you ask. For new records, including the raw time-on-page signals, the automatic deletion mechanism is still being configured: we do not promise it already runs automatically, but every deletion request is carried out manually and promptly via info@veltiono.gr.
Sharing your result via a link
When you share your result link, whoever opens it sees an anonymous summary (income category, marital status, number of children, postal area) — not your name, email or phone number, which are never included in the link. If you choose to connect that link to your identity yourself (for example by sending it from a personal account or telling someone it's yours), that is your own action and responsibility — it is not something we control or manage. Sharing your result is your right, not something governed by us.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, as well as the right to object and to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
Cookies
We use necessary cookies for the site's basic functionality; these are always on. With your consent we also use analytics cookies (PostHog and Microsoft Clarity, including heatmaps and session recording) to understand how the site is used and improve it. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. With your consent we also use marketing cookies (Google and Meta) to measure and optimize advertising.
Complaints
If you believe the processing of your data infringes the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
